Pool Tables USA may sell more pool tables than anyone online. I’m sure a good deal of this has to do with their paid ads on Google and the fact that Google shows them at the top position for a search on pool tables. Whatever the reason, they do pretty well for themselves. Unfortunately, I don’t think they do pretty well when it comes to pool tables. Read any of the descriptions they have posted on any table and you won’t find any mention of slate. Typically brands that don’t mention slate don’t use slate. This means you are getting an inferior table. (Edit: A reader pointed out that their shopping cart gives you slate options, so they do have tables with slate.) The tables all look great though and they have lots of options to choose from. Something I really like is that Pool Tables USA puts all their tables into collections, then lets you buy just the table or add on as much matching furniture as you want or need. You don’t have to buy the whole thing or just the table, you can get what you need and that is a great feature. But they do have some bad features, like not being able to choose the color of the cloth or finish. Several tables don’t let you choose sizes either. If all you’re looking for is a good billiards table and you don’t want to spend a lot, then skip Pool Tables USA because you will pay way more here for something you could have gotten at PoolTables.com for less. Pool Tables USA Reviews From Users

  1. I went looking for a good quality slate pool table online, and the one that really caught my eye was the “8-ft Marlowe” from PoolTablesUSA.com. In the order form, it gave two options for slate: 1″ and 1.25″, so obviously it is an option, at least on some of their tables… I assume they sell a broad range, including both slate and particle board, but if you want slate, they obviously have it available!Review posted by Mike Stroven
